Delhi-based Prism Offset, a bona fide customer of KOMORI presses for years, is now fully geared up for yet another press, third KOMORI press, to be installed at its Kutch unit in Gujarat. The brand-new KOMORI press, a 5-colour Lithrone GL 537, was booked by Prism Offset during the recent drupa 2024 at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany.
Established in the year 1983 as
Prism Offset and incorporated as Prism Offset Pvt Ltd in 1996, the company has
remained true to its founding principles. “We have very firm principles which
we implement in our work culture and business ethics for years. Under our
principles, we are committed to investing in best-in-class machines and
equipment, engaging in close partnership with our clients and exploring all
untapped possibilities of printing,” tells Mr Sudhir Chhabra, Managing Director
of Prism Offset Pvt Ltd.
He adds, “Well, when it comes to
our commitment to investing in the best-in-class machines and equipment, KOMORI
remains a brand we have been closely associated, trusted and fully relied upon
its proficiency in delivering high-quality prints and overall productivity.”
The first KOMORI press installed at Prism Offset was an Enthrone 429, a press
embodied with leading-edge technologies.
“It was in the year 2015 we
installed our first KOMORI press—Enthrone 429, which is indeed a perfect answer
to the increasing demands for quality and consistent print outputs from our
clients,” informs Mr Chhabra, adding, “As far as we fully got satisfied with
the press’ flexibility, proficiency and productivity which in turn boosted our work
volume and print quality to another level, we went for the second KOMORI
Enthrone 429 in 2019.”
As Prism Offset’s KOMORI
chronicle continues, Mr Chhabra narrates, “Both the KOMORI Enthrone 429 presses
we are currently running are of 4 colours. And the newly booked Lithrone GL 537
is a 5-colour press. We have chosen this new press especially for its speed and many other advanced features. In
addition to that we are quite comfortable and satisfied with the unprecedented after-sales
support and service of the team KOMORI India.”
KOMORI Lithrone GL 537, which is
also called ‘OffsetOnDemand’ machine, accommodates short turnarounds and short-run
production of different end-products. It operates stably at the maximum speed
of 15,000sph (sheets per hour), compatibly taking on varieties of media with
maximum size up to 640x940mm and thicknesses ranging from 0.04mm to 0.6mm.
Headquartered in Delhi with two
production units in different locations—first unit at Noida Sector-63 in
Delhi-NCR and second unit at Kutch in Gujarat—Prism Offset as an accomplished printing
& packaging conversion company offers diverse range of products, viz. tags, stickers & labels,
inserts, calendars, leaflets, gift boxes, corrugated boxes, etc. They boast a
huge client base comprising corporate biggies.
“We are now eagerly waiting for
the day to unfold a new chapter of quality and quantity printing with the
installation of our brand new 5-colour Lithrone GL 537 at Kutch unit, which is
scheduled to take place in October this year,” concludes Mr Chhabra.
